Amy Brown

Amy Brown is an experienced school leader with a strong background in pastoral leadership and school improvement. She previously served as Deputy Headteacher for Pastoral at Cumberland School, where she was recognised for her commitment to student wellbeing, behaviour and creating a culture of high expectations and care.

Amy is now Headteacher at Waterside Academy, leading the school with a clear focus on ambition, inclusion and ensuring every student is supported to succeed both academically and personally. She is passionate about building strong school communities where students feel safe, challenged and inspired to achieve their full potential.

Amy believes that education has the power to transform lives and is dedicated to ensuring young people leave school with the confidence, character and aspirations needed for future success.
