Hana Aslam

Hana Aslam is an accomplished Maths teacher with a history of leadership and impact for the progress of Maths in Forest Gate Community School. Noteworthy is her distinguished tenure as the Assistant headteacher in charge of the mathematics department in Forest Gate Community School,where, under her guidance, the department consistently achieved the highest progress rates over a two-year period in Newham. Prior to this, Hana held a number of roles at Forest Gate, contributing significantly to the school's ethos.

With an international perspective, Hana undertook a role in Qatar aimed at elevating Key Stage 3 Maths, demonstrating her commitment to advancing educational excellence beyond national borders. Presently, Hana assumes a pivotal position overseeing assessments, mentoring graduate teacher trainees, and providing strategic leadership in mathematics across the Community Schools Trust. She brings a wealth of experience and a collaborative approach to catalyze positive developments in teaching and learning within the academic community.
