Emma Palik

Emma Palik is the Headteacher at UTCN. Emma has worked at the school for nine years and is proud to have seen the school go from strength to strength. Emma has a passion for ensuring students are ready for the world of work and have the skills to be successful, employable young people when leaving school. Having worked in a range of businesses herself, Emma knows how businesses work and the skills that are needed in various roles. Emma uses these skills to develop students employability skills, experiences and examination outcomes.

Since joining UTCN, Emma has developed the school’s quality of education, behaviour systems and links with employers. The school has a good relationship with local and national employers and works with employers to develop a strong curriculum with links to industry; allowing students to understand the skills and attributes needed to work in different environments. Students at UTCN move onto great destinations and careers in a wide range of Science and Engineering fields. The school is very proud of its students' achievements and the difference they now make to the companies they work for.
